Apple and cranberry crumble with raisins, walnuts, and a buttery topping.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (12 ounce) package fresh cranberries
  • 2 apples, or more to taste, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 0.5 cup raisins
  • 0.25 cup walnuts
  • 1.25 cups white sugar, divided
  • ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 0.25 teaspoon salt
  • 1 egg
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and butter a 9x9-inch glass baking pan.
  • Gently combine cranberries, apples, raisins, and walnuts in the baking pan. Sprinkle with 1/4 cup of sugar and cinnamon for extra flavor.
  • In a medium bowl, blend together the flour, baking powder, salt, egg, butter, and remaining sugar until crumbly. Spread the topping over the apple mixture.
  • Bake in the preheated oven until the topping turns golden and the inside is bubbling, approximately 50 minutes. Take out of the oven and allow to cool for 5 to 10 minutes.
