Simple and elegant dessert, dusted with confectioners' sugar and optional chopped nuts.
Ingredients:
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3 teaspoons baking powder
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 cups white sugar
  • 1.5 cups vegetable oil
  • 2 cups applesauce
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C), then prepare your 10-inch tube pan by greasing and flouring it. Next, sift together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon, and set the mixture aside.
  • Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon in a large bowl. Create a well in the center and add eggs, sugar, oil, applesauce, and vanilla. Mix thoroughly and transfer to the prepared pan.
  • Place the cake in the preheated oven and bake for 50 to 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Allow it to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
