Autumn fruit with pomegranate syrup for a delightful dessert.
Ingredients:
  • 2 carambola (star fruit), sliced
  • 3 nashi pears, cored, cut into wedges
  • 6 passionfruit, pulp removed
  • 3 pomegranates, juiced (see Notes)
  • 40.00 gm caster sugar
Instructions:
  • Combine the carambola, nashi pears, and passionfruit pulp in a large bowl, gently mix together.
  • In a small saucepan, combine the pomegranate juice and caster sugar. Heat over medium heat, stirring for 3 minutes until the sugar dissolves. Bring to a boil, then simmer uncovered for 3 minutes. Let it stand for 5 minutes after removing from the heat.
  • Drizzle the syrup over the fruit and delicately mix together.
  • Enjoy while hot
