Moist Bundt cake with prune and applesauce, walnuts, cinnamon, and clove for a delightful treat.
Ingredients:
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground cloves
  • salt
  • 1.5 cups white sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 0.75 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 (4 ounce) jars plum baby food
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts
  • 0.25 cup applesauce
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to a welcoming 325 degrees F (165 degrees C) and generously prepare a 10-inch Bundt pan with a luscious coat of grease and flour.
  • Combine flour, baking powder, cinnamon, cloves, and salt in a medium bowl, sieving them together till well mixed. Keep it aside.
  • In a large bowl, blend sugar, eggs, and oil until smooth. Stir in baby food and nuts. Alternate adding flour mixture and applesauce, beating until well combined. Transfer batter to the prepared pan.
  • Bake the cake in the preheated oven for about 45 minutes, until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Allow it to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
