Harness the natural goodness of veggies for homemade, healthy baby food.
Ingredients:
  • 1 bag (12 oz) frozen cut green beans OR sweet peas
Instructions:
  • Prepare the beans or peas according to package instructions; allow to cool for 5 minutes before proceeding.
  • Add the ingredients to a food processor and blend until silky smooth, gradually adding water until you reach the perfect consistency.
  • Fill ice cube trays or freezer-safe glass jars with the mixture. Freeze until solid, then remove cubes from trays and place them in labeled resealable freezer bags. Enjoy within 3 months.
  • To serve, transfer a cube from the freezer to a small bowl in the refrigerator well in advance of serving for gradual thawing. Alternatively, gently heat the cube in a small microwave-safe bowl uncovered on the Defrost setting, stirring periodically, until just thawed and slightly warm. Always remember to check the temperature of the baby's food before serving.
