Savory bacon, fluffy scrambled eggs, and melty Cheddar cheese inside cinnamon roll dough make a delightful breakfast treat for the whole family!
Ingredients:
  • 3 slices bacon, cut into 1/2-inch pieces
  • 2 tablespoons butter, divided
  • 4 eggs, whisked
  • salt and ground black pepper to taste
  • 1 (17.5 ounce) can refrigerated cinnamon roll dough with icing (such as Pillsbury® Grands!®)
  • 1.25 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 5 tablespoons cream cheese, softened
Instructions:
  • Cook the bacon in a large skillet over medium-high heat, turning occasionally, until evenly browned, for 5 to 8 minutes. Then, drain the bacon on paper towels.
  • Preheat the oven to a toasty 400 degrees F (200 degrees C) and grease a 9-inch pie plate.
  • In a nonstick skillet over medium-low heat, melt 1 tablespoon of butter. Add eggs and stir gently with a spatula until soft and fluffy, which should take about 3 to 5 minutes. Transfer the eggs to a plate to cool, then season with salt and pepper.
  • Unwrap the cinnamon rolls. Flatten each roll into a rectangle, ensuring the cinnamon sugar layers are inside. Roll out each rectangle into a 6-inch circle.
  • Spread a generous layer of creamy cream cheese over the dough circle, then pile on the fluffy scrambled egg, rich Cheddar cheese, and crispy bacon bits. Carefully fold the dough over the delicious filling, ensuring a snug and secure seal.
  • Arrange the rolls with the seams facing down in the pie plate.
  • Melt the remaining 1 tablespoon of butter in a small microwave-safe bowl for about 10 seconds. Brush the melted butter over the rolls and season with salt and pepper.
  • Bake in the hot oven, turning halfway through, until rolls are a deep golden brown, for 20 to 22 minutes. Place pie plate on a wire rack; allow rolls to cool for 15 minutes before serving.
