Delicious bacon cheeseburgers topped with a perfectly cooked egg, sauteed onions, and gooey American cheese.
Ingredients:
  • 1 pound ground chuck
  • salt and ground black pepper to taste
  • 8 slices bacon
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 4 large eggs
  • 4 slices American cheese
  • 4 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 4 hamburger buns, split and toasted
Instructions:
  • Prepare your outdoor grill by preheating it to medium-high heat and brushing the grate lightly with oil.
  • Divide the beef into 4 portions and form them into patties. Season each side generously with salt and pepper.
  • Cook bacon in a large skillet over medium-high heat, turning occasionally until crisp, for 10 to 12 minutes. Drain on paper towels.
  • Heat olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Saute onion slices until softened, for about 5 to 7 minutes. Set aside.
  • Grill the patties until golden and cooked through, 4 to 5 minutes per side. Add American cheese on top and let it melt for about 1 minute.
  • Simultaneously, gently crack eggs into a nonstick skillet heated over medium heat. Let them cook until the edges turn opaque, approximately 1 minute. Cover the skillet, lower the heat to low, and continue cooking until the egg whites are fully cooked, around 4 minutes.
  • Assemble by placing a patty on each bottom bun, then add a fried egg, 2 slices of bacon, onions, mayonnaise, and the bun top. Serve immediately.
