Bacon Cheeseburger Tater Tots™ Casserole

Effortlessly recreate the delicious bacon cheeseburger and fries flavors in a quick and easy casserole, ready in under an hour.
Ingredients:
  • 1 lb lean (at least 80%) ground beef
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 2 teaspoons Montreal steak grill seasoning
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) condensed cream of onion soup
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 bag (32 oz) Ore-Ida™ Tater Tots™ frozen potatoes
  • 4 slices cooked bacon, coarsely chopped
  • 2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese (8 oz)
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F and generously coat a 13x9-inch (3-quart) glass baking dish with cooking spray.
  • 1. Cook beef and onion in a 10-inch nonstick skillet over medium-high heat for 7 to 9 minutes until browned. Drain any excess fat and return to skillet. Stir in seasoning, soup, and sour cream until fully blended.
  • Layer half of the frozen potatoes in the bottom of a baking dish. Add a generous portion of the savory beef mixture. Sprinkle with half of the chopped bacon, followed by 1 cup of sharp Cheddar cheese. Repeat the layers with the remaining frozen potatoes and cheese to create a delicious and satisfying dish.
  • After baking for 40 minutes, add the remaining chopped bacon on top and continue baking for an additional 5 to 10 minutes, until the casserole edges are bubbly and the potatoes are lightly browned. Finish by sprinkling with green onions.
