Bacon-wrapped pretzel rods with spicy brown sugar glaze, a deliciously sweet and savory party appetizer.
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup brown sugar, or more to taste
  • 3 tablespoons red chili powder
  • 1 pinch cayenne pepper, or more to taste
  • 1 (12 ounce) package thinly sliced bacon
  • 1 (15 ounce) package short pretzel rods
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C), then prepare a baking sheet by lining it with aluminum foil and placing a wire rack on top.
  • Combine brown sugar, chili powder, and cayenne pepper in a bowl. Coat both sides of each bacon slice with the mixture. Wrap a coated bacon slice around each pretzel rod, leaving the bottom of the pretzel uncovered for easy grip. Place the wrapped pretzels on a wire rack over a baking sheet.
  • Cook the bacon in the oven until it reaches crispy perfection, which should take around 15 to 20 minutes.
