Create irresistible bacon and cheese crostini with a tangy kick of Worcestershire and mustard - perfect for entertaining!
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup shredded processed cheese food (such as Velveeta®)
  • 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 7 slices cooked bacon, crumbled
  • 1.5 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 0.25 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1 (12 ounce) loaf cocktail-size rye bread
Instructions:
  • Combine the processed cheese food, Cheddar cheese, bacon, Worcestershire sauce, and dry mustard in a bowl.
  • Preheat skillet over medium heat.
  • Spread butter on both sides of each slice of bread and toast in a skillet until golden brown, about 1 to 2 minutes per side. Transfer to a baking sheet and continue to toast the rest of the bread slices in the same manner.
  • Position the oven rack 6 inches below the heat source and preheat the broiler.
  • Spread the delectable cheese-and-bacon mixture generously over the toasts, then elegantly place them on a baking sheet.
  • Broil toasts until the topping is hot and bubbly, approximately 2 minutes.
