Enhance green beans with savory bacon and herbs for a quick, tasty side dish. Ready in 20 minutes!
Ingredients:
  • 2 slices bacon, cut into 1/2-inch pieces
  • 1 bag (22 oz) frozen whole green beans
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic-pepper blend
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme leaves
  • 1 tablespoon butter or margarine
Instructions:
  • In a large nonstick skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon, stirring occasionally, until it is crispy. Remove the bacon from the skillet and let it drain on a paper towel.
  • Place beans and water in a skillet. Cover and cook over medium heat for 6 to 8 minutes, stirring occasionally, until beans are tender-crisp and water has evaporated.
  • Mix in the flavorful garlic-pepper blend, salt, thyme, and butter until the beans are evenly coated. Top it off with a generous sprinkle of crispy bacon.
