Create a mouthwatering venison burger pasta skillet for a delicious and simple dinner option.
Ingredients:
  • 3 strips thick-cut bacon, chopped
  • 1 lb ground venison
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1 teaspoon yellow mustard
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 cup hot water
  • 1 box Hamburger Helper™ cheeseburger macaroni
  • Chopped pickles, halved cherry tomatoes, chopped red onion, as desired
Instructions:
  • Cook the bacon in a 12-inch nonstick skillet over medium heat until it turns crisp, which should take about 5 to 7 minutes. Transfer the bacon to a small bowl using a slotted spoon. Increase the heat to medium-high, then add the venison to the skillet with the bacon drippings. Cook for 5 to 7 minutes, stirring consistently, until the venison is fully cooked without draining the drippings.
  • Combine ketchup, mustard, milk, hot water, uncooked pasta, and sauce mix from the Hamburger Helper box in a pot. Bring to a boil while stirring occasionally. Lower the heat, cover, and simmer for 11-13 minutes until the pasta is tender with most of the liquid absorbed. Garnish with bacon and serve hot.
