Spicy cream cheese-stuffed dates wrapped in savory bacon - a delectable appetizer.
Ingredients:
  • 3 1/2 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons chipotle chili powder
  • 24 pitted dates
  • 2 oz dark chocolate, cut into tiny slivers the length of dates
  • 8 slices bacon, each cut into thirds
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 400°F and prepare a baking sheet lined with foil topped with a baking rack.
  • Combine cream cheese and chili powder in a small bowl, stirring until well mixed.
  • Slice down the side of each date to create a pocket. Fill each date with a luscious cream cheese mixture and insert a piece of chocolate into the filling. Wrap each stuffed date with a savory slice of bacon and arrange them on a baking rack with the bacon ends facing down.
  • Roast for 20 minutes until the bacon turns perfectly crisp. Enjoy right away.
