Elevate brunch with zesty cream cheese spread, ideal for pairing with fresh bagels.
Ingredients:
  • 2 packages (3 oz each) cream cheese
  • 2 tablespoons beer
  • 2 tablespoons sour cream
  • 1 green onion, chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Pepper and additional salt to taste
  • 4 bagels, split
  • 8 to 12 thin slices deli roast beef
  • 1/2 small red onion, thinly sliced
Instructions:
  • Microwave the cream cheese in a medium bowl on High for 30 to 60 seconds until soft. Mix in the beer, sour cream, green onion, garlic powder, and 1/4 teaspoon salt until thoroughly combined. Season with pepper and more salt to taste. Cover the bowl tightly and refrigerate for at least 20 minutes.
  • Generously slather cream cheese on fresh bagels and top them with savory roast beef slices and thinly sliced red onion for a delicious open-face sandwich presentation.
