Baked Apples with Marzipan and Orange

Indulge in holiday baked apples filled with marzipan, perfect with vanilla ice cream or sauce.
Ingredients:
  • 4 large apples
  • 5 ounces marzipan
  • 1 tablespoon orange marmalade
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, cut into small pieces
  • 0.75 cup orange juice
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) for a perfect bake.
  • Peel apples and core them using an apple corer, then arrange them neatly in a small baking dish.
  • Combine marzipan and orange marmalade, then fill apples with the mixture and dot with butter cubes. Pour in orange juice into the baking dish.
  • Roast in the preheated oven until apples turn soft, for 55 to 60 minutes, and brush with orange juice every 10 to 15 minutes.
