Easy baked BBQ chicken tenders with tangy sauce and Asian seasoning for a delicious and speedy weeknight dinner.
Ingredients:
  • cooking spray
  • 0.33333334326744 cup barbeque sauce (such as Sweet Baby Ray's® Hickory & Brown Sugar)
  • 1.5 tablespoons Asian-flavored barbeque seasoning (such as Savory Spice® Asian Delight BBQ Rub)
  • 1 tablespoon caramel sauce
  • 1 pound chicken tenders
Instructions:
  • First, assemble all your ingredients. Then, preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) and generously coat an 8x8-inch casserole dish with cooking spray.
  • Combine the barbeque sauce, barbeque seasoning, and caramel sauce in a shallow dish until fully mixed. Set aside 2 tablespoons of the mixture for basting later on.
  • Coat each chicken tender generously in the barbecue sauce mixture, then transfer to the prepared casserole dish.
  • Roast in the preheated oven until chicken is cooked through and the juices run clear, for approximately 25 minutes. Brush with reserved sauce and continue to roast for an additional 5 minutes. Ensure chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) using an instant-read thermometer.
