Tender whiskey and honey-marinated chicken that will leave your guests wanting more.
Ingredients:
  • 16 (about 600g) chicken drumettes
  • 60ml (1/4 cup) bourbon whiskey
  • 60ml (1/4 cup) honey
  • 5.00 gm sweet paprika
  • Steamed jasmine rice, to serve
Instructions:
  • First, nestle the chicken in a suitable ovenproof baking dish. Next, mix together bourbon, honey, paprika, and garlic in a container with a spout. Drizzle the bourbon mixture over the chicken, ensuring each piece is evenly coated. Cover the dish with plastic wrap and let it chill in the refrigerator for 3 hours to enhance the flavors.
  • Preheat the oven to 200°C. Bake the chicken, turning occasionally, until golden brown and cooked through, about 30 minutes. Take out of the oven.
  • Portion the rice into serving bowls. Layer with chicken and serve promptly.
