Impress your guests with a platter of delicious maple-glazed chicken wings.
Ingredients:
  • 84.38 gm maple syrup
  • 70.63 gm smoky barbecue sauce
  • 7.50 gm smoked paprika
  • 2.40 gm onion salt
  • 1.5kg chicken nibbles (see note)
  • 20.80 gm chilli sauce
  • 20.00 ml chopped fresh chives
  • 77.55 gm sour cream
  • 40.00 ml finely chopped fresh chives
  • 23.40 gm wholegrain mustard
Instructions:
  • In a jug, mix together maple syrup, barbecue sauce, paprika, and onion salt. Place chicken in a single layer in a ceramic baking dish and pour the sauce over it. Ensure the chicken is fully coated. Cover and refrigerate for 6 hours or overnight, turning the chicken occasionally.
  • Preheat the oven to 200C/180C fan-forced. Let the chicken sit at room temperature for 15 minutes. Bake in the marinade for 35 minutes, turning twice, until golden and cooked through. Brush with chili sauce and sprinkle with chives before serving.
  • While you wait, prepare the Mustard Sour Cream by mixing sour cream, chives, and mustard in a bowl. Season generously with salt and pepper. Serve alongside chicken wings.
