Impress guests with easy gooey baked Camembert dip served with baguette for dipping.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (8 ounce) round Camembert cheese in wooden box
  • 1 clove garlic, sliced, or more to taste
  • 1 sprig fresh rosemary, leaves stripped
  • 2 sprigs fresh thyme, leaves stripped
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • freshly cracked salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) for the perfect cooking temperature.
  • Remove the Camembert from its wooden box, discard any plastic wrapping, and place the wheel of cheese back into the box.
  • Score the top of the cheese in a crisscross pattern about 1-inch deep using a sharp knife. Optionally, remove the top rind for a smoother texture.
  • Press the garlic slices into the scores, sprinkle with rosemary and thyme leaves, push a few herbs into the scores. Drizzle the Camembert cheese with olive oil and season with freshly cracked salt and pepper. Wrap the box with foil, leaving the top open, to prevent drips and place on a baking sheet.
  • After baking for 15 minutes in the preheated oven, delicately uncover the cheese in its box and serve immediately.
