Impress your guests with this easy tear-and-share bread with melty Camembert for dipping. Perfect for entertaining friends and family with a show-stopping appetizer.
Ingredients:
  • 800 g strong bread flour plus extra for dusting
  • 1 x 7 g sachet of dried yeast
  • 3 x 250 g round Camembert cheeses
  • ½ a bunch of fresh rosemary (15g)
  • 3 cloves of garlic
Instructions:
  • In a food processor, combine flour, yeast, and 1 teaspoon of sea salt. Slowly add 500ml of tepid water and pulse until a dough ball forms. Let it rise covered in a warm place for 1 hour 30 minutes until doubled in size. Line a baking tray with paper, sprinkle with flour and sketch a heart shape in the flour. Remove Camembert from one box and place it in the center of the tray. Divide the dough into 48 pieces, shape into balls, and surround the cheese to form a heart shape. Let it rise for another hour. Preheat oven to 180°C/350°F/gas 4. Trim the top rind off the Camemberts, insert rosemary and garlic, season, and place one in the center of the heart. Add herb leaves between the dough balls, season, and drizzle with olive oil. Bake the bread heart and Camemberts for 30 to 35 minutes until gooey and golden. Enjoy the melted cheeses and bake the remaining one later.
