Juicy chicken burgers infused with aromatic basil, smoky liquid smoke, and bold blackened seasoning for a mouthwatering twist.
Ingredients:
  • 2 pounds ground chicken
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1.5 teaspoons blackened seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon liquid smoke flavoring
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 6 leaves fresh basil, chopped
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a large bowl, gently mix ground chicken, egg, oil, blackened seasoning, liquid smoke flavoring, garlic powder, and basil until just combined, being mindful not to overwork the chicken.
  • Shape 4 patties using a 1-cup measuring cup and place them in a cast iron skillet. Gently press down on the patties with the measuring cup to form burgers.
  • Cook until perfectly done throughout and no longer pink in the middle, 18 to 20 minutes in the preheated oven.
