Elevate your burger game with delicious baked chicken burgers packed with flavorful mushrooms and onions.
Ingredients:
  • 1 tablespoon avocado oil, divided
  • 0.5 cup sliced fresh mushrooms
  • 0.5 cup chopped fresh spinach
  • 0.25 cup chopped onion
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 pound ground chicken breast
  • 2 teaspoons chicken soup base (such as Better than Bouillon® Roasted Chicken Base)
  • 5 sandwich buns
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C) and gracefully oil a 9x13-inch baking pan with half of the avocado oil.
  • Place mushrooms, spinach, onion, and garlic in a small food processor or blender. Pulse until finely chopped, but not pureed.
  • Combine ground chicken with fresh, vibrant chopped vegetables, chicken base, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Mix until all ingredients blend harmoniously. Divide the delightfully mixed flavors into 5 equal parts and skillfully shape them into tasty patties.
  • Lay patties on the baking sheet and gently coat with the remaining avocado oil.
  • Place the dish in the preheated oven for approximately 20 minutes. Then, crisp up each side by switching on the broiler until golden brown, taking 1 to 2 minutes per side. Verify doneness by ensuring the center reaches at least 165 degrees F (74 degrees C) using an instant-read thermometer.
  • Place a chicken burger on each bun.
