Succulent chicken thighs bathed in savory Worcestershire marinade, seared to perfection and served with a rich, flavorful sauce.
Ingredients:
  • 1.5 cups Worcestershire sauce
  • 1.5 cups water
  • 0.5 cup pearl onions
  • 3 tablespoons pickling spice
  • 1 tablespoon whole black peppercorns
  • 2 teaspoons crushed garlic
  • 1 cube beef bouillon, crushed
  • 5 large bay leaves
  • 12 (6 ounce) bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
Instructions:
  • In a resealable plastic bag, mix Worcestershire sauce, water, pearl onions, pickling spice, peppercorns, garlic, bouillon, and bay leaves. Add chicken thighs, coat well, remove excess air, and seal. Refrigerate and marinate for 8 hours to overnight.
  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) before cooking.
  • Transfer the contents of the resealable bag into a casserole dish, ensuring that the skin of the chicken thighs is facing upwards.
  • Roast the chicken in the preheated oven, turning it once, until fully cooked and the juices run clear, for approximately 45 minutes. Use an instant-read thermometer to ensure the temperature near the bone reaches 165 degrees F (74 degrees C).
  • Place the chicken thighs skin side up and broil on high until golden, approximately 2 minutes.
