Cozy winter dessert, ready in minutes.
Ingredients:
  • 2 large ripe Beurre Bosc pears, halved, cored, peeled
  • 4 cinnamon sticks
  • 42.00 gm fresh orange juice
  • 0.63 gm ground nutmeg
  • 16.00 gm brown sugar
  • 20g (1 tbsp) butter or margarine, finely chopped
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 200°C for the perfect cooking temperature.
  • Slice the pear halves thinly. Put cinnamon sticks in small (1/2-cup) ovenproof dishes. Lay one pear half over each cinnamon stick in the dishes, maintaining the pear shape. Sprinkle orange juice, nutmeg, brown sugar, and chopped butter over each pear half. Place the dishes on a baking tray and bake in a preheated oven for 10-12 minutes until the pears are tender.
