Crispy sweet potato fries, seasoned with garlic and paprika, baked to perfection for a delectable side dish.
Ingredients:
  • 2 large sweet potatoes, peeled, cut into 1x3-inch wedges
  • 3 tablespoons soybean oil (often labeled "vegetable oil")
  • 0.5 teaspoon sea salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 0.25 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 0.25 teaspoon paprika
Instructions:
  • Collect all ingredients required for the recipe.
  • Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C), place the rack in the upper third, and grease a baking sheet.
  • Peel sweet potatoes and cut into 1x3-inch wedges. Toss wedges with soybean oil in a large bowl. Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika, tossing lightly to coat evenly.
  • Spread the potatoes evenly on the baking sheet, ensuring they have space to crisp up nicely. Bake, flipping them occasionally, until they are soft and beautifully golden, for about 18 to 24 minutes. Allow them to cool for 5 minutes before enjoying.
