Deconstructed tacos - a fun twist on the classic, perfect for using pantry staples!
Ingredients:
  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1 packet (1 oz) Old El Paso™ Original Taco Seasoning Mix
  • 1 cup Original Bisquick™ mix
  • 1/3 cup cold water
  • 3/4 cup shredded Cheddar cheese (3 ounces)
  • Sour cream, if desired
  • Shredded lettuce, if desired
  • Chopped tomato, if desired
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 450°F and grease an 8x8x2-inch square pan. Cook beef with taco seasoning according to instructions on the seasoning packet.
  • Combine Bisquick mix and cold water until a soft dough forms, then spread it evenly in the pan. Top with the savory beef mixture and spread it out evenly.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes until edges are golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Sprinkle with cheese right out of the oven, let the cheese melt for 1-2 minutes, then serve with the remaining ingredients.
