Quick and delicious homemade bruschetta with top-quality balsamic vinegar, fresh tomatoes, and fragrant basil - a must-try summer treat.
Ingredients:
  • 1 loaf French bread, cut into 1/4-inch slices
  • 1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
  • 8 roma (plum) tomatoes, diced
  • 0.33333334326744 cup chopped fresh basil
  • 1 ounce Parmesan cheese, freshly grated
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon good quality balsamic vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons extra-virgin olive oil
  • 0.25 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
Instructions:
  • Assemble all the ingredients.
  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Lightly brush both sides of bread slices with 1 tablespoon of oil, then place on a large baking sheet. Toast until golden, about 5 to 10 minutes, turning halfway through.
  • Combine ripe tomatoes, fragrant basil leaves, savory Parmesan cheese, and minced garlic in a mixing bowl.
  • Combine balsamic vinegar, 2 teaspoons of olive oil, kosher salt, and pepper.
  • Spread the flavorful tomato mixture generously on the crispy toasted bread slices.
