Balsamic roasted green beans: quick, tasty side dish. Ready in 35 minutes.
Ingredients:
  • 2 1/2 lb fresh green beans, trimmed
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
  • 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 475°F. Coat green beans in oil in a large bowl. Transfer beans to a 15x10x1-inch pan without greasing it. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Roast without cover for 15 to 18 minutes until a delicious charred appearance forms, avoid stirring.
  • In a small saucepan, simmer vinegar over medium heat for about 9 minutes until thickened to 3 tablespoons.
  • Mix warm beans with rich balsamic syrup. Enjoy right away.
