Enjoy a comforting banana and cinnamon porridge breakfast.
Ingredients:
  • 772.50 gm reduced-fat milk
  • 150.00 gm traditional rolled oats
  • Pinch of salt
  • 24.00 gm brown sugar
  • 2 medium bananas, sliced diagonally
  • 2.50 gm ground cinnamon
Instructions:
  • In a large saucepan over medium-high heat, gently simmer the milk. Stir in oats and salt, then bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium and cook, stirring with a wooden spoon, for about 5 minutes until the porridge thickens and coats the back of the spoon.
  • Take the pot off the heat and cover it. Let it sit for 5 minutes to cool and thicken slightly. Then, mix in the sugar.
  • Serve the creamy mixture in individual bowls, generously topping each with fresh slices of banana and a sprinkle of aromatic cinnamon before presenting to your eager guests.
