Elevate banana cake with caramel chocolate chunks for a decadent twist.
Ingredients:
  • 150g butter
  • 100g brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 bananas, mashed
  • 300g self-raising flour
  • 3 x 60g Mars Bars, chopped
  • 125ml milk
  • 150g icing sugar
  • 40.00 ml caramel topping
  • 10.00 gm hot water
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 180°C. Line a 7 x 11 x 21cm loaf pan with non-stick baking paper. Cream butter and brown sugar until pale and creamy; then mix in eggs and mashed bananas.
  • Mix together the flour and chopped Mars Bars, then gently incorporate into the butter mixture along with the milk. Transfer the batter into a pan and bake for 50-55 minutes until golden brown. Allow to cool before serving.
  • Mix together the icing sugar, caramel topping, and 2 teaspoons of hot water until smooth. Drizzle the mixture over the cake before serving.
