Indulgent Nutella-swirled banana bread brownies - a guaranteed crowd-pleaser!
Ingredients:
  • 1.5 cups white sugar
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 0.5 cup butter, softened
  • 2 eggs
  • 1.75 cups mashed ripe bananas
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 0.75 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1.5 cups chocolate-hazelnut spread (such as Nutella®), or more to taste
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to a toasty 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) and generously grease and flour a 9x13-inch baking pan.
  • In a bowl, whip together sugar, sour cream, softened butter, and eggs until creamy. Mix in mashed bananas and vanilla extract. Stir in flour, baking soda, and salt until smooth. Gently fold in walnuts. Spread batter evenly in the pan.
  • Bake until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean, about 20-25 minutes in the preheated oven.
  • Take the brownies out of the oven, ensuring the oven remains on. Generously dollop chocolate-hazelnut spread on top without spreading it.
  • Place the pan back into the hot oven for 2 to 3 minutes until the chocolate-hazelnut spread is softened. Then, remove from the oven and evenly spread the chocolate-hazelnut spread over the brownies.
  • Cut the cooled brownies into 20 delicious squares.
