Indulgent chocolate cookie crust layered with bananas, strawberry ice cream, pineapple, whipped cream, nuts, and topped with sweet cherries - a frozen delight to savor.
Ingredients:
  • 20 chocolate wafer cookies, finely crushed
  • 0.25 cup butter, melted
  • 2 bananas, sliced
  • 1 quart strawberry ice cream, softened
  • 1 (20 ounce) can crushed pineapple, drained
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 0.25 cup chopped walnuts
  • 0.25 cup maraschino cherries
Instructions:
  • Combine cookie crumbs and velvety melted butter until perfectly moistened. Firmly press the mixture into a 9-inch pie plate for a delicious crust.
  • Layer the bananas on the crust. Evenly spread the ice cream over the bananas. Add the drained pineapple on top. Whip the cream and spread it over the pineapple. Finish by sprinkling with nuts.
  • Chill the pie in the freezer for 4 hours until it is firm. Top with cherries, if preferred. Serves 8.
