Layers of moist pound cake, fluffy whipped cream, creamy banana pudding, and vanilla wafers create a delectable and simple trifle.
Ingredients:
  • 2 (3.5 ounce) packages instant banana pudding mix
  • 1 quart cold milk
  • 2 bananas, chopped
  • 4 cups heavy cream
  • 4 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 cup confectioners' sugar
  • 1 (12 ounce) package prepared pound cake, cubed
  • 0.5 (12 ounce) box vanilla wafers (such as Nilla®), crushed
Instructions:
  • Blend the pudding mix with creamy milk until it's velvety. Gently fold in diced bananas and let it rest.
  • In a large bowl, whip cream until just about to form stiff peaks. Gently beat in vanilla and sugar until peaks form, being careful not to over-beat to avoid a lumpy, butter-like texture.
  • In a trifle bowl, create two beautiful layers by alternating pound cake cubes, creamy pudding, fluffy whipped cream, and crunchy vanilla wafers. Repeat the layers with the remaining ingredients and finish by topping with more crushed wafers. Let chill in the fridge until serving time.
