Transform ripe bananas into a decadent chocolate-studded coffee cake.
Ingredients:
  • 2 1/4 cups Original Bisquick™ mix
  • 1 cup mashed ripe bananas (about 2 medium)
  • 1/2 cup miniature semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons butter or margarine, softened
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 375°F and grease an 8-inch square pan with cooking spray. In a medium bowl, mix all coffee cake ingredients together with a wire whisk or fork until well combined. Spread the mixture evenly in the pan.
  • Bake for 26 to 30 minutes until beautifully golden and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Allow to cool for 30 minutes.
  • Combine all glaze ingredients in a small bowl until smooth. Add milk, 1 teaspoon at a time, if needed, to achieve desired drizzling consistency. Drizzle over warm coffee cake and serve while still warm.
