Maple-infused hot biscuits elevate this quick and tasty pork sandwich.
Ingredients:
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 teaspoons maple flavor
  • 1 3/4 cups Original Bisquick™ mix
  • 1 container (18 oz) refrigerated original barbecue sauce with shredded pork
  • 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables, thawed, drained
  • 2 tablespoons maple-flavored syrup
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 450°F. Combine milk and maple flavor in a large bowl. Add Bisquick mix and stir until soft dough forms; mix for 20 strokes. Transfer dough to a surface dusted with Bisquick mix; coat gently by rolling. Shape the dough into a ball and knead 10 times. Roll or pat the dough into a 6-inch square, about 1/2 inch thick, then cut into 4 square biscuits.
  • Arrange the biscuits on a clean baking sheet. Bake until they turn a beautiful golden brown, usually between 7 to 9 minutes.
  • In a microwave-safe bowl, place the pork. Cover with plastic wrap, leaving a small vent to release steam. Microwave on High for 2 minutes, then stir. If needed, continue to microwave in 1-minute intervals, stirring each time, until heated through. Add vegetables and maple syrup, cover, and microwave on High for 1 more minute.
  • Split the biscuits in half and generously fill them with the flavorful pork mixture.
