Slow-cook tender pork ribs with sauce for delicious barbecue sandwich filling on rolls or buns. Perfect for a satisfying dinner.
Ingredients:
  • 1/2 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1/2 cup sweet-and-sour sauce
  • 2 lb boneless country-style pork ribs, trimmed of fat, cut into 2-inch pieces
  • 6 kaiser rolls or burger buns, split
Instructions:
  • Prepare the slow cooker by spraying it with cooking spray. Combine barbecue sauce, sweet-and-sour sauce, and garlic in the cooker. Add pork and mix until well coated.
  • Cover and simmer on low heat for 8 to 10 hours.
  • Take the pork out of the cooker and place it on a plate. Use two forks to shred the pork. Mix the shredded pork into the sauce in the cooker. If preferred, toast the rolls by placing them cut side up on an ungreased cookie sheet and broil them 4 to 6 inches from the heat for 1 to 2 minutes, or until toasted. Finally, spoon approximately 1/2 cup of the pork mixture into each roll.
