Elevate your chicken with bacon, Cheddar, and BBQ flavor for a mouthwatering twist on a classic dish!
Ingredients:
  • 3 boneless skinless chicken breasts (about 1 1/2 lb)
  • 2 tablespoons barbecue seasoning
  • 2 slices cooked bacon
  • 3 slices Cheddar cheese
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 425°F and generously coat a 13 x 9-inch (3-quart) baking dish with cooking spray.
  • Create 1/2 inch apart cuts on each chicken breast from top to bottom, forming pockets, without cutting all the way through.
  • Season the chicken with barbecue seasoning, ensuring it is evenly coated. Cut each bacon slice into thirds, resulting in 6 pieces. Cut each Cheddar slice into quarters, resulting in 12 pieces.
  • Layer the chicken slits with a delicious combination of cheese and bacon, ensuring each one is generously filled. Use any remaining cheese or bacon to top up the slits for an extra flavorful finish.
  • Roast without covering for approximately 15 minutes or until chicken is fully cooked. Allow to rest for 5 minutes before enjoying.
