Get ready to impress with this mouthwatering T-bone steak recipe that will elevate your grilling game to pro status!
Ingredients:
  • 850g desiree potatoes, cut into wedges
  • 36.80 gm canola oil
  • 2 tsp finely chopped fresh thyme leaves
  • 4 (300g each) beef T-bone steaks
Instructions:
  • In a large saucepan, submerge the potato in cold water. Bring to a boil over high heat, then lower the heat to medium and cook uncovered for 6 to 8 minutes until tender. Drain and place the potato on a baking tray to cool for 20 minutes.
  • Heat up the barbecue plate and chargrill on high heat. Drizzle the potato with 1 tablespoon of oil, toss well to coat, and sprinkle with thyme. Season with salt and pepper. Cook the potatoes on the barbecue plate, turning occasionally, for 12 to 15 minutes until they are golden and tender.
  • Season the steaks with salt and pepper on both sides. Drizzle each steak with 1 teaspoon of oil and massage to ensure even coating. Grill the steaks for 4 minutes on each side for medium doneness or until cooked to your preference. Place the steaks on a wire rack over a baking tray, lightly cover with foil, and let them rest for 5 minutes before serving as per instructions in the note.
  • Present a succulent steak alongside crispy potato wedges and a fresh green salad.
