Basic crumble recipe

Ingredients:
  • 100.00 gm rolled oats
  • 125.00 ml plain flour
  • 45.00 gm brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 100g butter, melted
  • 1kg granny smith apples, peeled, cored and stewed or 1kg canned pie apple
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 180C.
  • Combine all crumble ingredients until well mixed.
  • Spread the fruit filling over the base of a greased pie dish and generously sprinkle the crumble mixture on top.
  • Bake until golden and crispy, about 20 minutes.
