Creamy cheesecake topped with cinnamon-sugar apples in a delectable treat for all occasions.
Ingredients:
  • 0.75 cup butter or margarine, softened
  • 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 0.75 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 cups apples - peeled, cored and sliced thinly
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) for a perfectly heated cooking environment.
  • Combine butter, 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract, all-purpose flour, and 1/2 cup sugar in a bowl, then press into the bottom of an ungreased 9-inch springform pan.
  • In a large bowl, combine cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Mix in eggs and 3/4 teaspoons of vanilla extract. Pour the mixture over the crust.
  • Mix the sliced apples with cinnamon and 1/2 cup of sugar in a bowl. Spread the apple mixture evenly over the cream cheese mixture. Set the springform pan on a baking sheet.
  • Bake in a perfectly heated oven until the center is firm, for 50 to 65 minutes.
