Serve these affordable and delicious mini beef parcels at your next gathering.
Ingredients:
  • 1 small brown onion, finely diced
  • 350g lean beef mince
  • 420g can Condensed Minestrone Soup
  • 4 sheets frozen puff pastry, partially thawed
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 24.00 gm sesame seeds
  • salad greens, to serve
Instructions:
  • In a large non-stick frying pan over medium-high heat, sauté onion until soft, about 3 to 4 minutes. Add mince and cook, breaking it up with a wooden spoon until browned, approximately 5 to 6 minutes. Remove from heat and let it cool completely before stirring in soup until fully combined.
  • 1. Preheat your oven to 200°C and prepare 2 large baking trays with baking paper. 2. Cut 1 pastry sheet into 4 squares. 3. Spoon 2 tablespoons of mince mixture into the middle of each square. 4. Fold the pastry over the filling to create a triangle shape. 5. Use a fork to press the pastry edges together and seal them. 6. Repeat these steps with the remaining pastry squares and mince mixture.
  • Lay triangles on baking sheets. Coat with beaten egg and sprinkle sesame seeds. Bake for 15 minutes or until golden and puffy. Enjoy with fresh salad greens.
