Quick and tasty beef and veggie dumplings - simply boil and enjoy!
Ingredients:
  • 1.5 pounds ground beef
  • 2 cups shredded Chinese cabbage
  • 1 medium carrot, shredded
  • 1 medium onion, minced
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 (14 ounce) package wonton wrappers
Instructions:
  • Combine beef, cabbage, carrot, and onion in a large bowl. Add in egg, soy sauce, oil, sugar, and salt, stirring thoroughly.
  • Place a generous teaspoon of filling in the center of a wonton wrapper. Moisten the edges with a few drops of water, fold the dumpling in half, and pinch the edges together to seal. Create a decorative ripple pattern along the sealed edge by gently pinching and pushing together small segments. Repeat the process for the remaining dumplings.
  • Bring a large pot of water to a boil, then cook the dumplings until they float to the surface, for about 5 minutes. Drain the dumplings.
