Crispy beer battered chicken strips, perfectly fried for a juicy and flavorful dish.
Ingredients:
  • 1.5 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breast halves
  • 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 0.5 cup cold beer
  • 3 cups oil for frying
Instructions:
  • Slice the chicken breasts into 1-inch-thick strips and keep them aside.
  • In a medium bowl, combine 1 cup of flour with baking powder. Add eggs and cold beer, mixing until fully incorporated. Place the remaining 1/2 cup of flour in a small bowl.
  • Heat oil in a deep heavy skillet until it reaches 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
  • In batches, coat chicken strips in flour, then dip in beer batter. Fry in hot oil until golden brown and chicken is cooked through. Use a meat thermometer to ensure the center reaches 165°F (74°C). Drain on paper towels.
