Enhance brownies with your favorite beer for an irresistibly rich twist using Betty Crocker™ Supreme original brownie mix.
Ingredients:
  • 1 box (16 oz) Betty Crocker™ Delights Supreme Original Brownie Mix
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 tablespoons beer
  • 1/4 cup butter, softened
  • 1/4 cup shortening
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 2 to 3 tablespoons beer
  • 2 tablespoons milk chocolate shavings
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 350°F and line a standard muffin tin with 12 paper baking cups.
  • Combine the Brownie Cupcake ingredients in a medium bowl, mixing until fully incorporated. Fill each muffin cup two-thirds full with the batter, distributing evenly.
  • Bake for 25 to 28 minutes until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out almost clean. Allow to cool for 5 minutes, then transfer from pan to a cooling rack. Let it cool completely for about 45 minutes.
  • In a medium bowl, cream together softened butter, shortening, and vanilla with an electric mixer until light and fluffy, about 30 seconds. Gradually mix in powdered sugar on low speed, adding 2 tablespoons of beer. Continue beating until the frosting is smooth and easily spreadable. If needed, add the remaining 1 tablespoon of beer to reach the desired consistency.
  • Frost the cupcakes using a spreader or piping bag, then sprinkle chocolate shavings on top.
