Indulge in rich, fudgy stout-infused brownies using Betty Crocker™ Supreme original brownie mix and your favorite beer.
Ingredients:
  • 1 box (16 oz) Betty Crocker™ Delights Supreme Original Brownie Mix
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 egg
  • 3 tablespoons stout beer
  • 1 1/4 cups Betty Crocker™ Whipped vanilla frosting (from 12-oz container)
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (or 325°F for a dark or nonstick pan) and prepare an 8- or 9-inch square pan by greasing the bottom with shortening or cooking spray. Combine all ingredients, except frosting, in a medium bowl until well mixed. Spread the mixture evenly in the pan.
  • Bake in an 8-inch pan for 35 to 38 minutes or a 9-inch pan for 28 to 31 minutes, until a toothpick inserted 2 inches from the side of the pan comes out almost clean. Let it cool completely on a cooling rack for about 1 1/2 hours.
  • Evenly smooth the luscious frosting over the brownies, then slice them into neat 4x4 squares.
