Indulge in a cozy berry crumble for a delicious treat on chilly evenings.
Ingredients:
  • 2 x 250g punnets strawberries, washed, hulled, halved
  • 2 x 125g punnet raspberries
  • 28.60 gm honey
  • Ice-cream or frozen yoghurt, to serve
  • 3 x 35g Apple & Blueberry Crunchola Nut Free Bars
  • 40g butter, at room temperature
  • 40.00 ml plain flour
  • 57.20 gm honey
  • Pinch of ground cinnamon
  • 40.00 ml natural almond slices
  • 40g pkt coconut chips
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 180°C. Distribute the strawberries evenly between two 375ml (1 1/2-cup) ovenproof baking dishes. Layer the raspberries on top and generously drizzle with honey.
  • Crush the bars in their packets with a rolling pin until lightly crushed. Combine the crushed bars, butter, flour, honey, and cinnamon in a bowl. Rub the butter into the flour mixture with your fingertips until it resembles coarse breadcrumbs. Mix in the almonds and coconut chips until combined.
  • Generously distribute the crumble topping over the luscious berries. Bake until beautifully golden and irresistibly crisp for 25-30 minutes. Enjoy the warm delight with a dollop of creamy ice-cream or tangy frozen yoghurt.
