Indulgent brownies with a perfect balance of cakey and fudgy textures, topped with decadent chocolate frosting.
Ingredients:
  • 2 eggs
  • 0.33333334326744 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 0.5 cup all-purpose flour
  • 0.25 teaspoon baking powder
  • 3 tablespoons butter, softened
  • 3 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 cup confectioners' sugar
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare an 8-inch square pan by greasing and flouring it.
  • In a large saucepan, melt 1/2 cup of butter until smooth. Take off the heat and mix in sugar, eggs, and 1 teaspoon of vanilla. Then whisk in 1/3 cup of cocoa, flour, salt, and baking powder until well combined. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25 to 30 minutes until the top is dry and edges have started to pull away from the sides of the pan. Allow it to cool briefly before frosting.
  • For the frosting, blend together softened butter, confectioners' sugar, 3 tablespoons cocoa, honey, and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract until velvety. Spread the frosting over warm brownies.
