Cheesy meatloaf with a perfect crust.
Ingredients:
  • 2 large eggs
  • 0.66666668653488 cup milk
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 3 slices bread, crumbled
  • 1.5 pounds ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 0.5 cup shredded carrot
  • 0.25 cup brown sugar
  • 0.25 cup ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon prepared yellow mustard
Instructions:
  • Collect all the ingredients needed for the recipe. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • In a large bowl, vigorously beat together eggs, milk, salt, and ground black pepper until well combined. Fold in crumbled bread until it dissolves. Add ground beef, onion, Cheddar cheese, and carrot to the bread mixture, then transfer everything to a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
  • Mix together the brown sugar, ketchup, and mustard in a small bowl, then spread it over the meat mixture.
  • Roast in the preheated oven until perfectly cooked through, for 60 to 75 minutes. Use an instant-read thermometer – the center should register 160 degrees F (70 degrees C).
