Best Moist Chocolate Cake

Deliciously moist cake, perfect with or without chocolate frosting!
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup margarine
  • 1.75 cups white sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1.5 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1.5 cups milk
  • 2.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 6 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1.5 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) while you grease and flour a 9x13 inch pan. Sift the flour, cocoa, baking soda, and salt together, then set it aside.
  • In a large bowl, whisk the margarine and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, then mix in the vanilla. Alternate adding the flour mixture and milk, stirring until just combined. Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Let it cool.
