Crunchy ramen noodle salad with cabbage, almonds, sunflower seeds, and tangy vinaigrette.
Ingredients:
  • 2 (3 ounce) packages chicken-flavored ramen noodles, broken into pieces, seasoning packets reserved
  • 0.5 cup raw sunflower seeds
  • 0.5 cup slivered almonds
  • 1 (16 ounce) package coleslaw mix
  • 3 green onions, chopped
  • 0.5 cup olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons white vinegar
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground black pepper
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) to get it nice and toasty for your culinary creation.
  • Distribute ramen noodles, sunflower seeds, and almonds evenly on a baking sheet.
  • Place the noodle mixture in the preheated oven until golden and aromatic, for 10 to 15 minutes. Allow it to cool to room temperature before using.
  • In a large bowl, mix coleslaw mix and green onions, then top with the cooled noodle mixture.
  • Prepare the dressing by whisking together olive oil, reserved ramen seasoning packets, vinegar, sugar, and black pepper until smooth.
  • Coat noodle mixture with dressing by tossing together.
